God’s Love
Never feel lonely!!

God’s love is more powerful “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

His love is so powerful that he sent his son down to die for our sins. He always shows his love and don’t you forget it. “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:37-39)

Ladies and gentleman he is the true love. There’s no need to be lonely. He is there for you. The proof of the two scriptures will open your eyes and heart to love yourself more and others even your enemies. Accept God’s love and you will never be the same again in a good way. :D Jesus loves you and so do we.

Goals                                                                                                 Alex Sammon

Happy New Year!! This is the year that you and your family will shine! This is the year that you will reach your goals!

Remember that distractions will come keeping you from achieving your goals, but as long as you continue to listen to God. He will guide you whether it’s a long or short term goal.

“I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, a plan to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

One of the first things to do is to write down your goals and frame it in your house. Make sure that you write the reasons why and give yourself a time frame in order that you stay on track. Talk with God daily because ultimately He is the only one who can provide so that your goal is met.

“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)

Family, I would love to hear from you as to what your goals are and see pictures of such goals pasted on your walls. Stay positive.

Jesus loves you and so do I.

Old Fruit!                                                                                          Richard Boyd

Have you ever herd this saying. Believe it or not it is a saying used today and it does have one or more meanings. One such meaning is that it stands for a couple young or old who begin to loose their love for each other. Their marriage begins to fade as they find themselves struggling to reignite the passion they once had. So it is for those who they love God. We find ourselves like old fruit, decaying and falling off from our passion we once had for God.

Like any relationship it very easy to become old fruit, decaying in our love for others and even God. Ask God to show you what it will take to reignite the flame in your heart and love again.

IS HE KING?

Richard Boyd

The world today, including some Christians, who refuse to accept the reality of the Kingdom of God in their lives. Although many have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, they deny Him as Lord of their lives. He is their savior, but without Him becoming lord over their lives. This is the greatest deception today to believe that His Kingdom and His ruler-ship is somewhere in the future. When I walked the streets of the Old Jerusalem I witnessed a tradition; a belief that seems to transcend all faiths. The belief of many who come to Jerusalem is that in centuries past Jesus once walked these streets. There is no doubt in the minds of the number of tourists who come that He existed, as history has proven. The important question is He really the King of Kings to millions of people who claim they believe in Him?

It is imperative we recognize that He now reigns on the throne of the universe as the absolute King, absolute authority and those who have accepted Him by faith are part of this great Kingdom. It is important that we live our lives every moment believing He is the total and complete Lord of our life!

Don’t Underestimate the Devil.

 Alex Sammon

Even though he has nothing to give to you, he will take things away from you that keeps you away from God. The stronger you build your relationship with God, the more attempts the devil will make to get to you. He will find your weakness whether it’s through your health, appearance, finances, and family. He desires your heart family and he won’t stop till he gets it.God wants your heart too, but know the difference, God has everything to give you.

A wonderful Christian, entrepreneur by the name Mary Kay Ash said this: “My priorities have always been God first, family second, career third. I have found that when I put my life in this order, everything seems to work out. God was my first priority early in my career, when I was struggling to make ends meet. Through failures and success, I have experienced that my faith has remained unchecked.”

I challenge you family, if you put this in order you will see a difference in yourself, your family, your relationships and most of all with God.  Overcome your weakness and tell the devil to back off! When your heart desires something, be patient because God will give it to you in time. One of my favorite scriptures is Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” (NKJV)

Renew your strength and don’t allow your weakness get the better of you.

Jesus loves you and so do I.

   TEST YOUR FAITH!

Alex Sammon

One of my favorite quotes speaks a lot to me. It’s the Definition of Fear “A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain.” The definition of Faith is “the observance of this obligation; fidelity to one’s promise, oath, and allegiance.”

We all have some kind of fear in something that we have to face, but when you face the fear in faith you will be rewarded. God is always faithful to fulfill the promises He Has for us.

Case in point; Abraham and Sarah doubted God once and because of this they learned their lesson. God promised them a son in their old age. Yet they decided to take matters in to their own hands. Ismael was the name of the son born to Abraham, who filled with doubt and fear went with his wife’s slave girl named Hagar. Unfortunately the slave girl and her child didn’t receive the blessings God had promised to Abraham and Sarah.

Later on in Hagar’s and Ishmaels life God blessed them with other blessings. A number of years later the child promised by God was born to Abrahams wife Sarah and they never doubted God again. (Exodus 22)

Be patient! Keep in mind that fear leads to anger and anger to doubt, which eventually can end up in hate. Regardless of opportunities that will be presented to you, always pray and believe that God will provide.

Test your faith! It is stronger than you think.

Follow The Voice

 By Richard Boyd

When God calls someone into the work of the Lord, He never gives them a detailed plan of what He desires of them. What He desires from those He has called, is that they faithfully follow His leading. The Apostle Paul was no different. On his way to bring harm to those who were followers of Christ, he had a Damascus Road’ experience; an encounter with The Lord himself. In obedience he was told to go to a certain place and upon arriving there he would be shown the first part of God’s plan for him. So many times we desire God to give us a full description of what He expects of us, but the only description we receive is to be faithful each day, in doing so God’s plan will be revealed.

Overcome challenges…

Alex Sammon

“I have a secret to overcome challenges. We all go through challenges in our lives whether it’s through finances, sickness, struggles the best secret to overcome. When I took my Sunday School class to Burchfield Ministries summer camp, one scripture really touched my heart and it made me realize that it is so simple to overcome your challenges. My super secret to overcome challenges is to just listen. That’s it. That’s the secret! It’s that simple. Listen to God and he will help you. The scripture that touched my heart was Matthew 11:28 which it said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (NLV) So rest you burden and weary people cause God will help you overcome your stress and the challenges in your life. Jesus loves you and so do we.”

Learning The Good In Bad

 Richard Boyd

It’s really hard to understand how bad things can become good. Especially when we are going through something really terrible.
Yet, if we look back at most situations in our life, especially the bad ones. We will see that there really was a silver lining or a light at the end of the tunnel. Many times when we experience a bad situation it behooves us to stop and ask these question?
What can I learn from this?
How can I gain strength if it were to happen again?
Please I am not saying that every bad thing produces good, there are some situations that are so horrific we never want to go through it again.

One Bad Worm!

Richard Boyd

All it takes is one worm to destroy an entire apple.
Just a little corruption or a poisonous word can render us useless.Do you or are you in friendship with someone like that. Then you need to stop the relationship, before it spoils you. God has made us pure and perfect in Jesus. Why would we want to stain his perfection with what is evil. Anyone who is a bad influence on your life is in control of you. God desires we dedicate ourselves to him, and to live free from control as His holy people. Don’t allow one worm to destroy your productivity in life. (Romans 12:1-2)

Three Daughters!

Richard Boyd

I have three daughters, who I love very dearly. My love is not based on what they can do for me, but on who they are. They are a part of me extended into the world. As a father I can lay claim to them as my daughters and I am proud of them based on my relationship with them. God’s love for you is independent of how you behave, who you are, or how you respond to His love. Like my daughters I love them because they belong to me. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:6-8.
Plain and simple I love my three daughters not only because they are my children, but because I am their father. This is a clear reminder that God loves you not because of what you do, but because of who He is.

MENTAL DEATH!

Richard Boyd

There are those who believe that the flesh is our greatest enemy. Yet, although the flesh is an enemy against the things we believe in God. The mind even more can be a greater influence for the flesh.
It is in the mind where sin and evil thoughts are conceived, long before it is manifested in our flesh. Law enforcement officials have a terminology called premeditated murder. A person can be punished more severely for a criminal act, if it can be proved they acted upon an evil thought before they committed a crime. Sometimes we are so taken up with dying to the flesh, that we forget to recognize that the mind must be transformed to God’s thinking before the flesh can begin to die. (Read Romans 8:6-8)

*************************************************************************************************
 Life’s Storms!

Richard Boyd

The storms of life will always produce some form of concern in our minds. More importantly, we must set our hearts on our God given inheritance by defending that which tries to steal from us. Recognize when a storm is rising, and face it with a tenacity that only God can issue. By so doing, you are roaring against the storms in your life. You have been given the right to overcome hardships and discouragement. Do not allow this privilege to be stolen from you. Satan will make every attempt to rob us of the power God has placed within us.

*************************************************************************************************
 PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE!

Richard Boyd

We make plans in order that we can be happy. But sometimes when plans fail we hold ourselves responsible. We never stop and realize that this is one of God’s way of showing us His plan. God knows the future and He is the only one who knows what will really make us happy in the long run. Today God has a better plan that will bring us a happier life!

******************************************************************************************************

 TWO GRAVES!

Richard Boyd
When we hold anger and resentment against someone, it forces us to dig two types of graves in our hearts. We either dig one to bury our peace or we dig the other to bury our anger. Stop and think is it worth it to replace the joy in your life at the high cost of anger?
The choice as to which funeral you attend is yours.

WHEN LOVE BECOMES POISONED!

Richard Boyd

When we claim we love someone it is important to know that love is giving of ourselves. If we say we are in love or love someone, then we must show our love by our actions. Unexpressed love is worthless love. It is only love talk and not love played out towards others. The original root word for love is give or a gift. In other words love is giving and not taking. Many marriages have ended because they started on the foundation of getting rather than giving. We all have something to give to someone when we enter into a love relationship, whether it’s family, friends or spouses.
Giving ourselves for the other is giving the greatest gift, because we give a part of us to someone. Love is not taking, as much as it is giving so others can be happy. When a person demands from another, it is a sign that love has been poisoned with a selfish attitude. This breathes anger and resentment which causes love to take a back seat. Such relationships are ruined and fall apart quickly, as selfish toxins take hold and smother the love that was once there. The end results are anger and hostility towards the one we love. This then causes a physical or emotional feeling that is no longer motivated by love, but by selfish desires. So one is now loved on the basis of what they can do to please the others selfish cravings.
This is not the type of toxic love God gave to us, because love of itself is giving to others. God loved us regardless, and His love has never been motivated by our performance or personality. His love for us is giving the best and that was Himself for us. This is the quality of true love.

Land Developer!

Richard Boyd

God has and will always be the number one land developer. He always has rewarded man with a place to dwell. In The beginning He gave Adam a garden, then He promised and gave the Hebrew Children a promised land. Now He has promised us a New Heaven and New Earth. The great thing about it does not cost us anything. Isaiah 61:7

 The Fellowship!

Richard Boyd

Make no mistake about it, the consolation of the Holy Spirit had to be a major factor when Christ was in the wilderness. Although He was being tempted by evil, it was the relationship with the Holy Spirit that allowed Him in many ways to break through. The Holy Spirit is an ever-present source of comfort and peace within our lives regardless of how strong we may be at times. Such comfort is essential in order for us to survive the attacks of evil and become passionate towards God. The fellowship that we have with God in Heaven can only be heightened by our fellowship with His Spirit.

Threatened?

Richard Boyd

It is God and His word that stands out against the intimidating threats in our lives. Fortress of old have towers built into the walls, these towers were used as a look out to see impending attack. When we make God our tower He is the one who looks out and warns us of attacks.

************************************************************************************************
Peace And Prayer!

Richard Boyd

God has called us to pray so that He can change the circumstances. Prayer should never be motivated by outward perception alone, but should always be directed to God in faith. Prayer is a life style that will always bring about continual peace and blessings in our lives. In order to have peace in our lives we must understand that prayer is one way of being at peace. When we pray we find sanctuary and peace in God.

 The Worst Person?

Richard Boyd

So many times in our life we feel as if we are the worst. We can be very critical about ourselves, by looking down upon ourselves as being inferior. We read 1 Timothy 1:15 the writer explains that he was the worst of sinners. But, he was also forgiven by Christ which made him the best in God. Remember, regardless of how bad one was, Christ makes us the best.

Conflicts!

Conflicts are a sign that man is in need of help and that God, who is greater, offers a better solution. What is God offering you in your life today? It’s up to you to accept!

New Day

Richard Boyd

In our lives God never fails, if we understand His faithfulness toward us. We understand that He has only one plan for mankind, to bring us into a new day, where we can live in newness of life. God wants to give us new love, new peace, and a new joy. Conflicts are a sign that man is in need of help and that God, who is greater, offers a better solution. What is God offering you in your life today? It’s up to you to accept it!
